About Us

TBS was launched in 2003 with a single purpose: to provide bicycle retailers with services that improve their profitability and their quality of life. These retail services include operational, advertising, and training programs designed to save our retailers time, increase their revenue, and maximize their profitability. We currently support over 300 independent retailers around the country, and we are acknowledged as the leader in innovating retail services for specialty bike stores.

Membership Structure

You pay an average of $300 per month to gain access to TBS services (higher in the warmer months, lower in the colder months). Paying monthly membership fees gives you access to all of our programs plus store-specific consultation. Above these monthly fees, you incur extra charges when paying for your store’s marketing materials, attending certain training events, or conducting Mystery Shopping evaluations. All of our services are optional, and you choose only what works for your business. Twice a year, each member receives a Performance Summary detailing their return on investment with key TBS programs.

Who is The Biking Solution?

We are a team of nine dedicated staffers based in Southern New Hampshire, who work enthusiastically every day to make you more profitable. Our mission is to improve the profitability and quality of life for our member retailers. In addition, through our parent organization, CCA Global Partners, we have access to additional staff and resources as needed. CCA Global Partners supports more than 4,000 independent retailers across four industries. When we negotiate savings, construct a training curriculum, or design marketing materials, we are doing so with the collective knowledge of 25 years and 300 employees dedicated to supporting thousands of independent retailers.

I Run My Business On My Own, Why Do I Need TBS?

Sure, you can do much of this yourself! The real question is, “Is doing it ALL by yourself the most efficient use of your time and money?” The very best business people make strategic decisions on how best to utilize their limited time and money. TBS enables retailers to free up critical resources so that they can invest more time into the areas of their business that really need their attention. By proactively investing in and working with TBS tools and services, you will improve profitability and remove road blocks to an even brighter future. Most of our members are very successful before they ever join our group. TBS is simply a set of tools that allows you to propel your business to the next level. You choose what you need, and only what you need. TBS retailers range from small two- to three-person operations up to multi-million dollar stores.
